I love creating, building, and strengthening marketing skills and programs. There is nothing quite like that moment when you see a light go off in a colleague’s eyes when the path becomes clear and they realize they can and will achieve their goals; personal or corporate. You can feel the delight, a sense of excitement, and triumph. It’s moments like those that make work worthwhile.

In the past, I authored three books on social media and marketing, including Welcome to the Fifth Estate, won several awards, spoke a lot, and sold a boutique social media agency. In the past, I advised numerous top brands, including AT&T, Audi USA, Cox, eBay, Ford, General Dynamics, Google, PayPal, Pepsi Co., Procter and Gamble, SAIC, USPS, Verizon, and Yum! Brands.

Those experiences included building social fundraising campaigns that raised in excess of $100 million for nonprofits. I have also helped several brands successfully navigate brand reputation and cybersecurity crises.

My education includes an MA in Communications, Culture, and Technology from Georgetown University and a BA in Literature from The American University. I have also had the past privilege of teaching as an adjunct at Georgetown and George Washington Universities.
